In 2007, I wanted to create an event outside of the norm - something that was not the normal bar scene, but would draw people to downtown Indianapolis to celebrate New Year's. Something that would bring people to Indianapolis instead of sending them to Chicago or Louisville to seek "bigger events." The first year, only one ballroom was used - the Grand Hall of Union Station. 400 people attended. Now, three ballrooms are used and it draws more than 2,300 people each year!
As the creator and owner of this event, I manage everything from contracting entertainment, working with the venue, selling tickets, working with media, acquiring sponsorships, and onsite management. I'm proud to say that it is one of Indianapolis' best New Year's Eve events. A huge thank you to Anheuser-Busch for their continued support!
